Recording a Zoom Meeting

Recording a Zoom Meeting

In Module #4 we talked about Local vs. Cloud recordings, here's a quick refresher:

  • Local - The meeting is recorded and downloaded to your computer following its completion.
  • Cloud - The meeting is recorded and uploaded to the cloud following its completion.

During a recording you have the ability to pause/un-pause the recording, you also have the ability to completely stop the recording. Lastly, you also have the ability to stop a local recording and transition to a cloud recording, or vice versa.

If you decide to do a local recording, make sure you have free hard drive space. A one-hour recording will approximately 400 MB of free disk space.
